All Braskem America production facilities are certified to produce bio, bio-circular, and circular polypropylene under the ISCC PLUS certification via the mass balance approach.
SGM9450F is a high‐density polyethylene, developed for the high molecular weight film extrusion segment produced with bimodal technology. The film produced from this resin has high tenacity and excellent resistance to impact characteristics. This resin has wide molar mass distribution that makes it easier to process. The minimum biobased carbon content of this grade is 96%, determined according to ASTM D6866.
SLH118 is a Linear Low Density Polyethylene developed specifically for blown film extrusion. Films made with this product exhibit a balanced combination of good processing performance, optical and mechanical properties, and sealability. The resin contains very low gel amount and includes oxidant additives. The minimum biobased carbon content of this grade is 84%, determined according to ASTM D6866.
Braskem America B-110 is a thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin obtained through catalytic polymerization of hydrocarbons in a continuous process. These light yellow pellets exhibit hydrophobic characteristics and are compatible with most solvents and polymeric materials. In rubber applications, Unilene enhances processability, filler incorporation, dispersion, and mass adhesion, preventing elastomer degradation and reducing preparation time. Moreover, in Solvent and Hot Melt adhesives, this resin promotes good adhesion, cohesion, excellent open time, and water repellency.
Braskem America B-110 LN is a low molecular weight, thermoplastic aromatic C9 hydrocarbon resin obtained through catalytic polymerization in a continuous process. It comes in a pearl-like shape and has a yellow colored scale. Compatible with most solvents and polymeric materials, Unilene ® B-110 LN has a controlled naphthalene content, resulting in a less pronounced odor compared to regular C9 hydrocarbon resins. In rubbers, it enhances processability, dispersion, tack, and filler incorporation, preventing elastomer deterioration and reducing preparation time. For applications in hot melt and solvent-based adhesives, the resin promotes tack, wetting, cohesion, open time control, and water repellency.
