Braskem America PIB 24

Braskem America PIB 24 is a clear and bright polymer obtained by polymerization of an isobutene-rich stream with specific catalysts. It mainly consists of aliphatic mono-olefins and is free from sediments or suspended matter. With NSF certification and being non-toxic, PIB 24 is suitable for use in lubricants and synthetic oils, including food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade formulations. Additionally, it finds application in cosmetics as a lip-gloss agent.

Recommended Storage & Handling Conditions
  • Polybutene polymer must be stored at temperatures under 50°C, and protected from direct sunlight, moisture and in order to avoid direct contact with the soil.
  • Shelf Life : 3 (Three) years from production, since the recommended storage conditions are respected.
